May memories 2 .....
May 17th Barb flew down to Gwangju in southwest Korea and did a presentation at Chosun University with her good friend Dr. Seon Young Hwang. They spoke on Education-Practice partnerships. The Chosun University rose garden is exquisite (photo 1). Faculty were very grateful to have a Fulbright present a lecture in English (photo 2).

On Sunday afternoon May 19th some of the women from church gathered at Lynette's home to give Daria a baby shower. ( photos 3-4).

We shared a delicious meal at Gab and Mara's lovely home with Pastor Prince and Monica (photo 5).

What a treat to have Yana cook us a special dinner of Russan food. Yum -- she is a great cook !!! (photo 6)

Sunday May 27th we were parked on the street outside Costco when another car came along and almost took the door off our car. (photo 7) Fortunately, Barb had not actually started to get out but had only tried to open the door. God's angels are working overtime !!. The car door is all fixed now. It only cost us $330 USD - one of the cheapest things we have found in Korea.

Monday May 28th was Barb's last undergraduate class. Here are some of the senior nursing students ( photo 8)
